One little last eye candy before the season changes? We’re stretching out this glorious summer until it frays.
“Saint” Color. Inspired by a summer heretic in a loose linen maxi with pockets deep enough for a lighter and a sandwich, pinning back hair she’ll later let fall, she refuses to surrender the season, stretching August until it frays, spending her days submerged in a Palm Springs swimming pool in an inflatable papasan, basking in every golden hour, walking downtown after dark in flip flops flashing a perfect pedi, abandoning endings on principle because she loves the what-if of it all, tipping well because she knows the luxury of being remembered, the irony of her name isn’t lost on her––Saint who flicks her ash into a chipped teacup, who tells the truth when it’s inconvenient, and who is unhurried, tactile, untethered, unorthodox, sun-faded, and wry. “You’re impossible to pin down,” he says. She exhales a ribbon of smoke, “I was only ever passing through.”
